The Jordan 12 Taxi Suede is one of many pairs from the Jordan Brand that is scheduled for a grand comeback this year. It is a colorway that was first seen in 1996 during Michael Jordan’s fifth championship season in his basketball career and it draws heavy inspiration from New York City’s famed yellow taxi cabs. Though it has been reissued a few times through the years, this is the first time the pair will feature suede overlays, and we have no doubts that these are not a deal-breaker for many Jordan lovers out there. The Air Jordan XII Taxi sees a white tumbled leather upper, with metallic gold accents coating the lace stays and the small strip peeking out midfoot. What traditionally would be a leather panel up front around the toes, comes in supple suede fabric instead for a luxe aesthetic. Whether or not you plan to shoot hoops in these, we have no doubts that the crowd will have their eyes locked on your feet.
